In June 2016, the American Health Care Association/National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL) gave written guidance to members about what these policies may encompass, which will be discussed.

In health care facilities, all employees are expected to follow certain standards of behavior. These standards should influence the way patient care, daily business, interaction with others, and everyday decisions are accomplished. This course includes information to assist the administrator in developing the facility’s compliance program.The National Continuing Education Review Service (NCERS) of the National Association of Long Term Care Administrator Boards (NAB) has approved the above named program for continuing education credit.
