This purchase consists of the Home Safety Assessment Consultant (HSAC) course that is a requirement for renewal of your certification and a renewal contact verification form. Your updated certificate for the C.E.A.C. or C.E.A.C. Mastery will be issued only after the contact verification form and the HSAC is completed. The certification will be renewed with a two-year time period.

Suicide prevention involves a network of individuals providing mental, emotional, and physical support to an individual. This course educates long-term care workers on how to determine if a resident is at risk for suicide, as well as how to appropriately respond, report, and resource.

Regulations for long-term care vary from state to state. This course was adapted from best practices developed for long-term care nursing assistants.
