CNA100 - Documentation on Activities of Daily Living in Long-Term Care (1.0 HR)
To enhance the knowledge of nursing assistants in accurate documentation of activities of daily living.
Documenting Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) is essential in the long-term care setting. This course covers the various settings and codes the CNA uses to document resident performance for self-care and mobility ADLs according to the Minimum Data Set.
Objectives
* Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to:
* Identify correct coding for resident performance of activities of daily living
* Identify what activities of daily living are included in MDS 3.0
* Describe how to document activities of daily living
