Series - 4 Hour Dementia Training Module B (4.0 HR)
All staff working in the long term care setting will increase their and skills in caring for persons diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease or a related disorder. This bundle of courses includes the following modules: Philosophy of Care Family & Staff Issues, Activities for Persons with Dementia, Activities of Daily Living Medication & Nutrition, and Ethical Issues.
Purpose: All staff working in the long term care setting will increase their and skills in caring for persons diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease or a related disorder. This bundle of courses includes the following modules: Philosophy of Care Family & Staff Issues, Activities for Persons with Dementia, Activities of Daily Living Medication & Nutrition, and Ethical Issues. Completion of these four modules has the following continuing education credits: 4.8 contact hours Iowa BON #355; 4.8 contact hours CA Board of Nursing CEP 14033; 4.0 contact hours CE Broker # 50-4572 Florida and District of Columbia; 4.0 contact hours for certified nursing assistants; 4.0 contact hours for long term care department heads and other health care disciplines.
