Essentially Women and VGM Education offer a bundle of courses commonly required by various accreditation bodies to be completed by staff on an annual basis. The Home Safety Assessment Consultant (HSAC) education course will teach you how to perform professional Home Safety Assessments. People need to modify their homes for many different reasons. The most common would be that a family member is beset with a mobility impairment due to injury, or people in elderhood want to Age in Place and to upgrade their home to reduce fall risks. The HSAC course will teach you to assess the safety hazards of the whole living quarters from driveway to the entrance, and every room on every floor of the home. We provide a Home Assessment guide and evaluation process to follow along with tips on how to educate the consumer on the risks their home has and possible recommended solutions.

The C.E.A.C. and the C.E.A.C. Mastery credentialing programs include course content from The Home Safety Assessment Consultant (HSAC).

This course on mask fitting will help the clinician find an optimal fit for their patients and achieve optimal comfort as they wear the mask over the duration of their therapy. Finding the best fit and comfort will help improve therapy compliance on the part of the patient.

The Aids to Daily Living Specialist (ADLS) credentialing program is administered by VGM Live At Home. This certification program is designed to assist the professional dealing in the retail environment of aids to daily living and accessibility items. The ADLS program is intended to reduce the disparity in training and knowledge found among professionals who evaluate and recommend solutions for the safety, comfort, and environmental access needs of aging and physically challenged individuals. The program consists of a three unit self-study educational program, unit reviews and a comprehensive final exam. Upon successfully completing the entire program, you will hold the distinction of being a certified Aids to Daily Living Specialist (ADLS). Note: This program will also assist those studying for the C.E.A.C. certification program.
