Employees should complete Part 1 before taking this course. Part 2 focuses on pre-operational inspections, safe forklift operation, load handling, special attachments, and refueling procedures. Successful completion of this course and the associated knowledge assessment does not authorize an employee to operate a forklift. Operators must also complete all required hands-on training and competency evaluations before operating a powered industrial truck.

AHCA (Agency for Health Care Administration) licenses all DME's in the State of Florida. The AHCA regulations are very prescriptive and require specific actions and processes. Module F was created as a supplement for the VGM Policies and Procedures Manual and contains all of the policies organizations need to meet AHCA regulations.

This course is about the United States Department of Transportation’s (DOT) driver’s training as it pertains to the handling and transport of compressed oxygen cylinders in the support of patient care. The first chapter will address the safe handling, transport, and storage of compressed oxygen cylinders. The second chapter will cover the specific rules regarding U.S. DOT laws, such as the Materials of Trade (MOT) exceptions, and the regulations on the transport of compressed oxygen cylinders -- specifically when you are carrying a gross cylinder weight on a vehicle that is less than 1,000 pounds, but greater than 400 pounds.
