This course is the second part of a two-part forklift training series designed to prepare employees for hands-on forklift training and evaluation. Employees should complete Part 1 before taking this course. Part 2 focuses on pre-operational inspections, safe forklift operation, load handling, special attachments, and refueling procedures. Successful completion of this course and the associated knowledge assessment does not authorize an employee to operate a forklift. Operators must also complete all required hands-on training and competency evaluations before operating a powered industrial truck.
