SAF101 - Basic First Aid (1.5 HR)
Health care personnel will learn the techniques of basic first aid.
Purpose: Health care providers will learn the techniques of basic first aid.
Objectives: Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:
1. Understand the goals of first aid.
2. Learn the basic first aid interventions for a variety of specific situations.
3. Increase their understanding of common medical emergencies and the appropriate care and response.
4. Learn the first aid interventions appropriate to the site of the injury.
5. Understand the legal implications of providing first aid.
