Learning objectives:
- Explain why frequent and effective removal of breastmilk is important.
- Explain the purpose of a breast pump and how it is used.
- Identify the four basic types of breast pumps.
- Explain how to determine the most appropriate breast pump for a lactating mother.
- Explain how to determine the most appropriate breast pump for a nursing mother;
- Explain how to properly clean breast pump parts after use.
- Explain the conditions under which breast milk should be stored.
To successfully complete this course, you must attain a minimum score of 80% on the final exam and complete the course training survey.
