HH110-Communication in Home Care (1.0 HR)

Purpose: All health care employees will better understand the importance and process of communication in the health care setting after taking this course. Objectives: Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to: 1- List barriers to effective communication. 2- Explain the concept of active listening, including what to convey and what not to convey. 3- Summarize overcoming barriers to communicating with people who have disabilities. 4- List the five aspects of communication.
