CNA110 - Nutrition & Hydration: Intake & Output (1.0 HR)

The nursing assistant will enhance their knowledge and skills in calculating intake and output and determining percentage of meal completed for their residents.

Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, you should be able to:
1. Discuss and differentiate between intake and output.
2. Calculate accurate intake and output.
3. Determine accurate percentage of meal completed.
4. Demonstrate the ability to calculate the end-of-shift total of intake and output.
5. Recognize what changes to report to nursing staff.
