This course provides you with important information about how the credit card system works, some things to watch out for, and your responsibilities as a merchant.

Learning objectives:

1. Identify the major participants in the credit card payment system and their roles.
2. Identify the key steps in a credit card transaction.
3. Define common credit card processing terms.
4. Identify situations that may lead to retrieval requests and chargebacks.
5. List methods for reducing chargebacks and protecting payment information.

To successfully complete this course, you must attain a minimum score of 80% on the final exam and complete the course training survey.
