This course highlights Medicare documentation requirements prior to claims submission. It is important to understand which type of order is required prior to delivery: Preliminary/Dispensing Order (can be verbal or written) or Detailed Written Order Prior to Delivery. To successfully complete this course, you must attain a minimum score of 80 percent on the final exam and complete the course training survey.

- Identify documentation required prior to claim submission;
- Identify the three proof of delivery methods recognized by Medicare;
- Identify supplier standards that must be addressed at the time of delivery and prior to claims submission;
- Identify signature requirements for medical review purposes.
