This course provides an overview of ethnogeriatrics which is the influence of ethnicity and culture on the health and well-being of older adults. Learning Objectives: 1. Identify how ethnicity influences attitudes and behaviors; 2. Explain how to respect cultural differences that affect health care decisions; 3. Identify examples of cultural awareness and sensitivity to improve communication with the aging of diverse ethnicities. To successfully complete this course, you must attain a minimum score of 80% on the final exam and complete the course training survey.
