RRC100 - Residential Ramp Consultant (R.R.C.) Prep Program

This six-module Residential Ramp Consultant (RRC) Prep Program will give you the education you need to install ramps that safely resolve individual accessibility needs.

Learning objectives: 1) Describe the range of products available and their intended uses to promote independence, accessibility, and safety according to the challenges of each client’s living environment.  2) Identify and recommend critical design modifications and documentation necessary for independent functional ability of each client based on their needs.  3) Identify the client’s personal mobility device and the considerations necessary to ensure functionality and safety.  4) Identify current ADA Guidelines and local building codes as each pertains to residential ramp design.  5) Define the RRC’s comprehensive and complex role in the recommendation, construction, and remodeling of compliant, functional, safe, and feasibly designed residential ramps.

Continuing education: VGM Education is accredited by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) and is authorized to issue the IACET CEU. VGM Education is authorized by IACET to offer 0.3 CEUs for this program. To successfully complete this course, you must attain a minimum score of 80% on the final exam and complete the course training survey.
