Bronchitis is an inflammation of the bronchial tubes, the airways that carry air to the lungs. This course provides an overview of bronchitis including an explanation of the differences between the two types of bronchitis: acute and chronic.

Learning objectives:

  1. Describe the two main types of bronchitis; 
  2. Explain the causes and risk factors of bronchitis; 
  3. Describe the various treatments for bronchitis and lifestyle changes that can help a patient with bronchitis.

To successfully complete this course, you must attain a minimum score of 80 percent on the final exam and complete the course training survey.
