Learning objectives:
- Identify the deleterious effects of immobility on all body systems;
- Describe the benefits of continuous lateral rotational therapy (CLRT) across the care continuum;
- Discuss recent clinical research on the effects of CLRT in the treatment of pulmonary disease;
- Identify indicators for discontinuation of CLRT;
- Discuss case management/nursing considerations across the care continuum for patients on CLRT;
- Discuss cost benefit ratio of CLRT in certain disease states.
To successfully complete this course, you must attain a minimum score of 80% on the final exam and complete the course training survey.
