HR004 - Interviewing and Hiring

This course will assist you in developing a framework to structure an interview in a lawful manner.

Learning objectives:

1. Prepare and structure a hiring interview; 
2. State the importance of asking only “job-related” questions, avoiding questions that might be viewed as discriminatory; 
3. Use resumes to screen job applicants; 
4. Use the company application form to balance and supplement the information supplied on resumes; 
5. Follow up on references legally and effectively. 
6. Collect all relevant hiring data for evaluation.

To successfully complete this course, you must attain a minimum score of 80% on the final exam and complete the course training survey.

Continuing education: 1.0 Category II CPE credits by the Board for Orthotist/Prosthetist Certification (BOC); VGM Education is authorized by IACET to offer 0.1 CEUs for this program.
