Learning objectives:

  1. Identify the major players in the credit card system and the role each plays; 
  2. Explain the reasons why people use credit cards; 
  3. Explain how the credit card process works; 
  4. Describe how the credit card system protects you, the merchant; 
  5. Explain the chargeback process, and identify five ways to avoid chargebacks; 
  6. Describe at least four features that an e-commerce Web host should be able to provide you in order to accept credit card payment over the Internet. 
  7. To successfully complete this course, you must attain a minimum score of 80% on the final exam and complete the course training survey.
