This course reviews the relationship between aging and multiple sclerosis.
This course reviews the relationship between aging and multiple sclerosis. To successfully complete this course, you must attain a minimum score of 80 percent on the final exam and complete the course training survey.
Learning objectives:
- Describe the effects of aging on the four types of MS;
- Describe the clinical characteristics of elderly patients with MS;
- Explain the differences in physical, psychological, and cognitive functioning in elderly people with MS;
- Describe the coping mechanisms for elderly people with MS;
- Describe the available services for elderly people with MS.
